Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree MS SQL Developer  T-SQL 2005,ETL,SSIS, JOB DUTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible formaintaining and supporting documented, configuration managed change, to a database that is used to report metrics for the 787 program.  Included in this responsibility will be the need to document and manage data requirements, understand and integrate those requirements into the interim solution and support the metrics reporting of change data to the program customer utilizing technology developed to date.  Further, this position will document the as-built configuration for metrics delivery to the Go Forward production system owners for incorporation into production systems.  The existing metrics delivery system relies heavily on Microsoft Office products including MS Access and MS Excel.  The primary skill focus will be on MS SQL Server 2005 and an understanding of connecting to other Enterprise data systems including Oracle and Terradata. JOB SKILLS: This job requires skills in the following technologies asthe current applications are built upon these systems.  T-SQL development of queries, views and functions.  Designing and developing SQL Server 2005 databases.  Designing, developing and deploying SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.  Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) patterns and practices.  Developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Access and Excel.  In addition, the candidate must be capable of effectively communicating information in a cross functional team environment and have the ability to perform in a fast paced, changing environment.
