Position Summary:

 

Provide machining management, quotation support, direction and coordination of the Machine Shop activities. Ensure production requirements are met at the lowest cost and that quality, safety and scheduling requirements are met. Must maintain product quality, control scrap & continuously improve dept. effectiveness and productivity.

 

Essential Qualifications:

·  10 years experience in machine shop.

·  5 years management experience.

·  Three years experience in quoting machined parts.

·  Thorough knowledge and understanding of all machine shop, lathe and CNC operations.

·  Experience performing measurements and using precision measuring equipment.

·  Ability to read blueprints.

·  Ability to perform shop math calculations
