Pratt & Whitney is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Structures Engineer with demonstrated technical leadership skills as well as experience in managing a group of engineers in the Engine Dynamics and Loads group.

This position requires a strong background in Dynamics and Stability, Vibrations and Impact analysis. Specific knowledge of engine structural loads including: Rotor dynamics, maneuver loads, and fan blade out loads is an advantage.

The Engine Dynamics and Loads (ED&L) Group is responsible for developing full engine models and performing loads analyses and dynamic response predictions for military, commercial, and advanced engine programs including engine rig testing. These models are integrated with aircraft structural models and loads and deflections are provided to Module Center engineers for detailed component analyses.

ED&L engineers process vibration data to support model calibration, engine or component validation, or Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) investigations for development or production testing or field support. Frequent interaction with Systems Design & Component Integration (SDCI), airframe structural engineers, applied mechanics, and module center engineers is required.

MSME, PhD or Equivalent



Managerial and supervisory experience is essential.
