The Photonics GroupRespond with resume to dab@mri-rtp.com  Title:  Manager, Marketing & Business Development, Homeland Security Responsibilities: Provide marketing and business development direction and coordination of all Government Systems Division Homeland Defense activities to enable the business unit to meet or exceed its annual and long range plans. Responsibilities include: Strategy Development:   Assesses markets against corporate, sector and division standards, and makes recommendations to division management for strategically positioning the business area in selected markets. Develops and maintains senior level customer relationships with significant U.S. customers in targeted markets. Analyzes customer trends, actions, requirements, and issues, as they relate to Homeland Defense interests and activities, and provides actionable recommendations based on synthesis of customer information. Works with Division and Business Area management to develop 'market-shaping' strategies and activities for targeted markets, and coordinates transition of market-shaping activities to specific business development opportunities and capture plans. Candidate is responsible for the development of public relations strategy working with the Sector Marketing Communications organization to implement Public Relations strategy through web, print, broadcast media, trade show participation. Business Pursuits:   Identify, track, assess, and develop opportunities, implementing Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process within the Homeland Defense business area. Uses customer relationships to identify and influence opportunities and requirements. Support capture/proposal efforts by ensuring that relevant customer & competitive intelligence and market data is available for win strategy development and bid/no-bid decisions. Education/experience: Engineering or Business Degree, Advanced Degree Preferred, 10 Years Experience in HLS/HLD Market.  Experience in Untied States HLS/HLD Marketing, Experience with US DHS and US DoD Chem Bio Programs.  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
