Manager Of Programs

The world leader in electronic countermeasures. Serves as the Leader of the Program Management team assigned to programs. Responsible for all Program Managers who are planning, directing, controlling and coordinating financial as well as engineering or manufacturing activities for theprogram or programs assigned and for achieving financial objectives; responsible for operational progress of all programs and Program Managers and institution of remedial action to effect completion in accordance with customer criteria. May alsodirectly manage programs.Perform all of the usual and customary duties related to managing subordinates.' Ensures that the preparation and implementation of the overall program plans, including operating schedules,manpower forecasts, milestones, allowable costs and work statements are completed properly.' Serves as Team Leader and provides direction to team for the execution of the program plans.' Ensures that Program Managers accomplish the preparation, review and analysis of technical, progress and financialreports.' Advises Program Mangers as they determine and initiate appropriate action to ensure realization of contractualcommitments.' Resolves problems of cross-functional relationships and priorities either directly or through cognizant management.' Reconciles or arbitrates issues, differences, problems and concerns through evaluation, making recommendations andobtaining consensus of team members of both the customer and internal functions.Keep the site manager informed as to the technical and financial status for related efforts and programs.Directs all communications between the customer and Acoustic Sensors on concerns, issues, and problems affecting execution of the program plan.Evaluates the performance of Program Managers and personnel assigned to projects. Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Management or Industrial Management. Advanced education towardscompletion of an MBA, MS, or CEUs is desirable.15 years experience in engineering, manufacturing or project management with several years involved in project.Engineering or manufacturing principles; project coordination and control techniques; accounting procedures and controltechniques; government contract and procurement. Program Management Certification is a plus.coordination in an integrated product team environment. Demonstrated leadership competencies required. RESPOND HERE!
