This position is responsible for full programmatic performance including development, transition into Entry Into Service (EIS) and full production. Extensive leadership/interface with functional leaders in engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, and Customer & Product Support, as well as supporting functions such as contracts, program planning & control, export compliance, Marketing and Product Management and the on-site support team are required. The selected candidate is accountable for managing all aspects of customer avionics programs from cradle to grave, including annual RD&E budgets and program AOP.Primary Responsibilities:Directly responsible for Program Performance, Customer Satisfaction, Growth and Profitability for assigned program(s) within the BGA Aftermarket business segment Establish/maintain appropriate business relationships with assigned customer/program partners and act as focal point for the customer Establish management operating systems to measure program performance against customer CTQs and internal requirements Establish, maintain, and lead the Customer Core Team, including establishment of program plans, enabling processes, and deploy the BGA MOS aligned with IPDS to integrate and drive program & project performance, including VOC performance (e.g., delivery on commitments, quality, responsiveness, reliability, service & development) and financial performance (e.g., revenue, margin, ENI, etc.) Control program scope, baseline changes, and net investment during design, development, certification and entry-into-service relative to this new business aircraft development Develop and execute detailed action plans and management operating system, including risk/opportunity analysis, with Engineering, ISC, C&PS to achieve revenue and net investment / operating income targets for the program Participate in monthly operation reviews for the customer and program relative to VOC, Development Program, Project & Delivery Performance, Quality, and Reliability Managing product upgrades and obsolescence activities with customer Communication Delivery and Quality improvement plans Manage and communicate configuration management changes Support aftermarket pursuits where needed Ensure appropriate resolution of VOC issues in conjunction with Customer Quality Facilitate forecasting and capacity analysis related to delivery requirementsQualifications: Bachelors degree PMP Certified or will achieve certification within (6) months of accepting position 5+ years of relevant program or project management experience required with a track record or delivering successful program results Experience in either broad or specific areas of integrated avionics products and services Experience managing programs with significant budget/spend responsibility, new product development Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to build & lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business MBA Integrative thinker Experience setting & prioritizing goals and identifying & scoping effort Solid skill set in all aspects of Program or Project Management including knowledge of IPDS and PM tools and processes Demonstrated competency in Six Sigma tools, software, and design processes. Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified Strong customer relationship & executive communication skillsMust have appropriate knowledge of the regulatory and quality requirements
