Specific responsibilities associated with the Terrain Database Engineering Technical Manager include: Functional Engineering Leadership.  Execution of tactical goals and objectives.  Development and execution of strategic goals and objectives.  Interface cross functionally with other organizations in Honeywell.  Customer communication and relationship building..  Participate in Product roadmap (Strap, AOP, Capital, Census, etc).   Manage staff development, including IPMD and MRR processesBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or science10+ years experience in engineering discipline Desired/Additional Qualifications The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possesses comprehensive engineering skills, has excellent communications skills, has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead multi-site engineering teams, and has experience in all of the following areas: avionics database, systems, and/or software development, program planning, development project life cycle, process development/implementation, customer briefings, and internal upper management briefings. In addition, the candidate will need to establish effective relationships with multiple stakeholders including external customers, marketing, and the technology team. Skills/Experience Required:  Engineering Project Management (project scheduling, budgeting, tracking & control, risk management, etc).  Experience in process development and implementation (experience in compliance to DO-200A is a plus).  Knowledge of avionics related industry standards and FAA regulations.  Hands-on experience in database development.  Team leadership and cross functional coordination.
