Manager of Machining Operations

Primary goals and responsibilites include but not limited to the following:

* Control daily production to meet the goals of Production Control

* Build a team mentality amoungst the machinists
* Clean and organize the shop floor
* Control and organize perishable tooling
* Formally define and control production recording and labeling
* Develop an effective, efficient and repeatable process for understanding resource availability and applying this knowledge to the day to day production process
* Develop and implement daily processes for housekeeping, quality control analysis and other item that will improve the look, feel and throughout the machine shop
* Labor assignments, additions, deletions, changes, etc.

 * All budgetary issues
* Daily production assignments
* Tooling
* Enforce established company procedures and policies and recommend disciplinary action as necessary.
* Understand, follow, and implement TS-16949 and ISO 14001 systems and procedures as appropriate to your department and/or area of responsibility.
* Initiate continuous improvement in your area of responsibility through the use of AVO’s, CAR’s and ECR’s.
* Participate in continuous improvement efforts, i.e. brainstorming sessions, training, continuing education, etc.
