Incumbent is an integral member of the NG in conducting manpower staffing standards studies as well as providing information and status on Full Time Support technicians to the 54 states and territories to include NGB leadership. In addition, other functions required are: Organizational Analysis/Management Advisory Services; Input to annual Manpower Voucher; Preparation and presenting In-Process Reviews (IPRs) and briefings as required; Manage tasking and projects using Microsoft Project.RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Plan and coordinate three year staffing study schedule.2. Plan, coordinate, and function as lead analyst on manpower related studies in accordance with AR 570-5 and standard Industrial Engineering procedures.3. Ensure that updated manpower requirements information is provided to the NGB Manpower Voucher process each year.4. Ensure that staffing standards for work centers are maintained and updated as required throughout the year based upon changes in mission, organization, and/or equipment.5. Ability to use statistical packages, when conducting staffing studies in completing regression and correlation analysis.6. Conduct Management Advisory Services/Organizational Analysis (Management Consulting) to state headquarters upon request. Assist in development of most efficient organization.7. Develop and provide briefings as required to all levels of NGB and DOD leadership.8. Coordinate with the 54 states and territories on Full Time Support issues.Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.Required SkillsMust possess characteristics necessary to interface and interview work center analysts during data collection phase of studies.Required ExperienceRequires a B.A./B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Military Manpower Management, or related field. Ideal candidate will have background experience in National Guard organizations, Department of Army and/or other military organizations and must possess characteristics necessary to interface and interview work center personnel during data collection phase of studies. Working knowledge of statistics (i.e., correlation and regression analysis).Must have Secret Clearance or proper background to obtain one.
