Manufacturing Engineers / Lean Process Engineers to 85K plus bonus

Our client is a stable, forward thinking and growth-oriented steel products manufacturing company with headquarters in the Midwest.  A privately owned multi-plant company with sales approaching $300 million.

Responsibilities: Will be responsible for manufacturing process improvements throughout the plant to achieve continuous improvements and cost reduction.  Lead process improvement initiatives including process experimentation, process design, process optimization, process control and process definition.Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, reduce cycle times, improve productivity, create and find capacity, improve process reliability, and improve customer satisfaction with respect to on-time delivery, yields, and quality.Constantly search for and evaluate potential breakthrough technologies.

Position Requirements / Desired Competencies:Bachelors Degree in Engineering5+ years experience in a manufacturing environmentSelf motivated, high sense of urgency, resourcefulComputer literateExcellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable working with all levels of the organization
