Marketing Manager

Overview:

 

DigitalGlobe is looking for an energetic, creative Marketing Programs Manager to help drive demand generation for DigitalGlobe’s World Imagery Solutions within commercial markets.

 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies to increase the promotion and visibility of DigitalGlobe’s world imagery solutions through a variety of marketing activities including web, tradeshows, seminars, electronic and print communications as well as advertising.

 

Must have a desire to work in a fast paced environment and bring a creative, entrepreneurial mindset to the Commercial Marketing team.

 

Primary responsibilities will include

 

q  Plans and defines marketing programs and activities which will insure high visibility, promotional recognition and revenue growth of DigitalGlobe world imagery solutions within commercial market segments

 

 

q  Develop and execute print, electronic and web promotional activities, including the definition of creative strategies, campaign goals, content creation, and production

 

q  Establish cost-effective relationships with outsourced vendors for print, e-mail, and web materials.

 

q  Support Marketing Events coordination with promotional activities and programs including advertising, collateral support and event demand generation activities.

 

q  Manage online activities for search engine marketing and search engine optimization, online advertising placement and traffic generation.

 

q  Coordinate with product management to support new product releases through marketing activities

 

q  Manage and segment CRM (Salesforce.com) and other internal databases for list management and program delivery

 

q  Oversee internal systems for lead tracking, database marketing and prospecting.

 

q  Conduct campaign tracking and analysis

 


 Experience and Skills Required:

 

q  5-7 years experience defining, planning, and coordinating marketing programs and projects including online lead-generation campaigns

q  Understanding of search engine marketing and analytics

q  Strong communication and copywriting skills

q  High attention to detail

q  Self-motivated and team player

q  Proficiency with desktop publishing (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or other programs)

q  Proficiency with Salesforce.com

 

 

Education

q  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or other related field
