Argon ST is currently searching for a Material Control Administrator to work out of our Fairfax, VA, headquarters building.



Position Description
This person will be joining the material control team. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of duties related to the receiving, stocking, inventory and shipping of material and systems; coordinating with other departments to meet schedule requirements; accurately maintaining information in the receiving and inventory modules of the material management system; preparing and maintaining receiving and shipping documentation; meeting delivery dates in a fast-paced organization.

Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Abilit to obtain a TS/SCI level security clearance
- Have a high school diploma and 5 years of related work experience
- Have the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Other Requirements
- Have knowledge of Federal acquisition regulations for government property control.
- Be detail-oriented, have strong problem solving skills, the ability to be flexible and a team player.
- Have knowledge of computer-based spreadsheet and database systems suitable for material control.
- Have experience with international shipping requirements.
- Have experience packaging sensitive electronic equipment.
- Be familiar with mil spec packaging.
- Be able to follow directions and established procedures.
