Mechanical Air Systems Engineer DER

DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of a team of engineers, supply expertise in Air Conditioning / Ice Protection / Oxygen / Pneumatics / Pressurization systems to support the troubleshooting, design, development, and certification of Air Conditioning/Ice Protection/Oxygen/Pneumatics/Pressurization components on Learjet Aircraft. Coordination with component/system suppliers on existing designs and new design development; prepare certification documentation, Certification Plans, Design Compliance Reports, etc;  Prepare component level and aircraft level test plans and provide analysis of results; Support production/fielded/experimental aircraft by participating in troubleshooting efforts, giving guidance/recommendations toward design solutions/repairs and return to service procedures while fully understanding criticality of safety.QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIRED:  Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or related disciplines; a minimum of 10 years experience in mechanical systems design and integration; The successful candidate will be a Systems and Equipment (Mechanical Equipment) DER with approval authority in the following authorized Air Conditioning/Ice Protection/Oxygen/Pneumatics/Pressurization. The successful candidate should be able to actively participate in a dynamic and fun team atmosphere, and have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to understand and present complex technical concepts and issues in a clear, concise manner, both verbally and in writing. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. The applicant must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with an ability to prioritize work and meet targets. Applicant must be willing to travel occasionally to support projects and work evenings and weekends, if necessary. CFR-Part 25 experience preferred.Please email resumes to rickd@tes.net
