Duties of this postion include: mechancial systems analysis and design in support of construction projects, field assessments, project cost estimating, and scope of work. Will also review site approval requests, review contractor drawings and deliverables. Provide technical analysis and resolution of issues associated with energy conservation in full range of utilities systems to include HVAC and refrigeration systems.Investigates and advises management on the feasibility of new projects, systems or approaches. Independently carries out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.Will perform Program Management duties overseeing contract deliverables.Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.Required SkillsThis position requires a Bachelors degree and 8 years of related experience. This position also requires PE (Professional Engineering) certification.Required ExperienceExperience with the design and construction of mechanical facility systems. Background in energy conservation (water production, high temperature hot water and heating production, sewage collection, processing and disposal; electrical natural gas, fuels, oils, and gasoline consumption, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems). Experience using MS Office Suite as well as good oral and written communications skills. AutoCAD experience is preferred.
