Mechanical Engineers / CAD Designers with ProE, SolidWorks

Our client in the New Orleans area is looking for CAD Engineers and Designers, particularly those skilled in ProE. These are long term contract positions with possibility of conversion. Unfortunately, the client is unable to provide sponsorship or work with third party vendors for these positions. There are multiple positions open, ranging from junior (2 years exp) to very senior. Very well known end client, would look great on any resume!!

Job Description:

Work closely with the design staff to check and provide quality control and verification for all component and mechanism designs. Ensure all designs and tolerances are acceptable and the assemblies have high reliability. Resolve issues with the design staff, review design documentation and provide corrections. Review engineering drawings for dimensional design, tolerance stack up, angles, material selection, clarity and conformity to design/drafting. Maintain configuration standards and specifications.

Skill Set:

Experience checking Designs, QC

Geometric Tolerancing and Dimensioning (GD&T)

Aeronautical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree

Computer Aided Design Tools: ProE, Solid Works, ProE/Wildfire

Solid Modeling

Aerospace Experience a plus
