Mechanical Inspector- Swing Shift

CEi seeks a Mechanical Inspector for its Sacramento, CA office.  Swing shift- 2:30 pm- 11 pm. Under minimal supervision perform a variety of inspections at various levels of assembly and manufacturing, including first article, in-process, and final inspections of complex machined/molded parts for conformance to specifications and determine acceptance or rejection.  This position also requires the ability to verify and validate testing activities performed during the various stages of product assemble.  Meticulous record keeping and tremendous attention to detail is a must. Key Responsibilities Include: Inspect complex machined and molded tools, fixtures, and parts using advanced measuring and layout instruments and equipment, visual and mechanical inspection methods. Prepare required inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications. Comply with established QMS procedures. Typical Qualifications Include: Preferably 2+ years related experience. Experience working with Mil and industry specifications and QMS. Requires high school education or equivalent.
