Mechanical/Manufacturing EngineerOur small company (www.lightningpacks.com) in suburban Philadelphia is currently inthe process of bringing a new and novel electromechanical classof backpacks (electricity-generating and ergonomic backpacks) to marketsthat include, among others, the military, fire/rescue workers andstudents.We are in search of a"hands-on" mechanical/manufacturing engineer with a minimum of 3 years ofexperience in the design, prototype, pre-production and medium to highproduction of electromechanical products containing both metal and hardplastic components.We currently have functioning prototype designs thathave been tested and now must be moved forward into final productiondesigns for low cost, medium to high-volume production. Hands-onexperience in CAD, R&D processes, manufacturing, etc. are essential.Our company offers a great opportunity for the right person to come in onthe groundfloor and not only provide technical guidance but participatein the operations of the company toward its future.
