Mechanical Support Equipment Design

1-Year Contract

 JOB DUTIES: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) design engineer responsible for all phases of engineering design and analysis of specialized maintenance tools used for the in-service commercial aircraft. Job starts with requirements for new equipment, leads through full engineering development cycle, typically involving the production of prototype parts, and culminates in release of GSE tooling to customer airlines.

JOB SKILLS: Machine design experience of 8 years minimum with demonstrated product development leading to hardware. CAD expertise required preferably with CATIA V4 & V5. Candidate must be an ABET accredited degreed engineer either BSME or BSCE. Previous aircarft structures and/or aircraft tool engineering experience is preferred.
