Mgr I Systems Engineering

LOCATION: SAINT PETERSBURG, FL 33701 Job Description: Front Line Leader (FLL) of the System and Product Deployment organization within the Integrated Communications and Security Systems (ICSS) Systems Engineering Department. The Front Line Leader represents the voice of Raytheon to a majority of the engineers in the Florida Region, and they represent the voice of employees to management. The ideal FLL candidate will plan, direct, and evaluate the work of their section. This organization supports the Civil Communications Solutions product line within the ICSS Systems Engineering Department. The primary objective is to ensure effective and profitable contract execution while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the Systems Engineering and Field Engineering discipline and how to effectively apply these skills. Experience with Earned Value Management and metrics analysis is required. In addition, this FLL will actively support Strategic Systems Engineering projects, bids & proposals and program measurement analysis teams. Required Skills: -Front Line Leaders (FLL) must meet criteria as defined in the process to attain FLL certification. -Experience with Earned Value Management -Leadership, team building, organizational, and problem solving capabilities -Proven written and verbal communicator. Desired Skills: · Experience as a Lead Systems Engineer, IPT Lead and/or Program Leadership. Experience with DOORs, iMetrics, CPA (Common Process Architecture). · Knowledge and experience with the DRSN (Defense Red Switch Network) · Knowledge and experience with Raytheon switching system products (SDS, RSU, DSS-2, DSS-2A and peripherals). · TS Clearance Required Education(including Major): Bachelors or greater in Engineering, Math, Applied Physics, 6-8 years direct work experience in lieu of formal education.
