Finance Lead Program Controls – Primary focus will be supporting new business pursuits within the Operational Support Programs (OSP) sub-product line. Job responsibilities will include: Cost modeling - Develop "what if scenarios" associated with new program pursuits. This will require understanding Work Breakdown Structures as well as the direct and indirect program cost accounting structures. Incorporate cost data when necessary from Subcontractors resulting in a seamless cost approach to executing the business model. Gate reviews - Support all financial reviews and analysis associated with new business pursuits including NBI (New Business Investment) investment costs, Return on Investment (ROI) analysis as well as meeting corporate profit targets. Participate in competitor strength and weakness analysis. This job will be an integral part of the overall planning and marketing efforts necessary to achieve business growth objectives. Review Request For Proposal (RFPs) - Review requirements from Customer ensuring all cost volume requirements are met as well as coordinating requirements among team members. Cost Volume Preparation – Interface between Pursuit Manager and all Cost Volume activities including cost volume preparation, coordination and analysis. Manage/review the Basis of Estimates (BOEs) process as well as assessing the financial reasonableness of all bid costs. Hands on responsibility for cost volume preparation as well as leading the cost team (including subcontract teammates) ensuring all aspects of a winning cost volume are met, meeting cost targets, fee calculations, accurate pricing upload formats, dead-lines, etc. Career Growth – Depending on major program award(s), there is potential career growth opportunities into the operational side of our Finance organization (if so desired). The intimate knowledge and experience gained from the proposal phase of new business pursuits will provide unique opportunities to join the Program Cost Controls team. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study with 8+ years experience in program cost analysis and management. Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role. Hands on experience with program EAC's, budget analysis, financial forecasting. Familiarity with both direct and indirect program costs. Strong communications and teamwork skills are required. Solid experience with Microsoft Office to include Excel/spreadsheets. US CITIZENSHIP WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AN SSBI SECURITY CLEARANCE. Desired Skills: Hands-on experience with Micro-frame Project Manager (MPM). Program cost controls operational 5-10 years of experience. Familiarity with cost volume pricing tools such as PcPricing (1 years experience). Required Education (including Major): Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study.
