Mission Technical Director -Test Operations Pacific Location

  Background

Opportunity at the Reagan Test Site (RTS) located in the exotic and tropical island of Kwajalein in the Republic of Marshall Islands.  Reagan Test Site (RTS) complex includes a variety of radar, telemetry, and other instrumentation and communication systems.

 

This location is a beautiful, tropical setting in the central Pacific that offers year-round water sports and many other recreational activities. Kwajalein is similar to most American communities with schools, hospital, stores and all public works.  Crime is virtually non-existent and so is traffic, private automobiles are not authorized and bicycles are the primary mode of transportation.

Mission Technical Director IV/Systems Engineer IV

(Full Time/ Unaccompanied)

Location: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands- Pacific

 

Responsibilities:

High level systems engineering responsibilities to include technical analysis and problem solving skills. Candidate should possess a minimum of five years of Test Range experience and/or Missile Flight Test experience. Candidate will interface with RTS range customers in support of mission planning and execution of missions. Responsibilities include: define mission requirements, develop Range Universal Documentation, perform test planning, and lead real-time mission operations from the Kwajalein Mission Control Center. 

 

Requirements:

Candidate must have excellent leadership and communications skills.  Candidate must be capable of interfacing with the real time control room equipment and computer display systems.  Real time test operations and missile development experience are desirable. Knowledge of range system functions is desirable. System level computer experience is desirable along with trajectory analysis and data analysis capability.
