Modeling and Simulation Network Engineer - Charleston, SC

Department of Defense contractor is hiring a Model and Simulation Senior Engineer in Charleston, SC.  Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.   Candidate will possess broad knowledge of M&S operating systems and network systems and must possess the engineering and technical knowledge to work with teams of engineers to formulate leading edge solutions, processes and programs.  Successful candidates will also possess strong verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, a high level of adaptability and able to work in a fast paced environment. BS in Electrical Engineering Required.  Minimum 15 years experience.  Advance Degrees and Publications preferred. Experience with OPNET required.  Working knowledge of SP Guru Technology and VNE servers network devices, technologies such as VoIP, TCP, OSPFv3, MPLS, IPv6 preferred. Additional Experience:  Object-oriented modeling Hierarchical modeling environment Discrete Event, Hybrid, and optional Analytical simulation 32-bit and 64-bit fully parallel simulation kernel Grid computing support for distributed simulation Optional System-in-the-Loop to interface simulations with live systems Open interface for integrating external object files, libraries, and other simulators Integrated, GUI-based debugging and analysis Please email all resumes to LisaCherry@Spherion.com   Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
