JOB TITLE:   Modifications Planning Manager       

 

 

COMPANY OVERVIEW: 

 

World Leader in VIP Modifications and Maintenance, specializing in Boeing and Airbus aircraft with designation as an authorized Airbus and Boeing Business Jet Completion Center and an FAA Designated Alteration Station (DAS).

 

 

 

JOB OVERVIEW:

 

· Directs and coordinates production planning at a program level; including program planning and control, scheduling and throughput to meet customer delivery requirements. 

· Coordinates with all departments to determine actual performance, future trends and constraints.

· Direct Reports Include: aircraft, engineering, production planners and production control.

 

   

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-Manages and ensures compliance with the Training Program by FAR 145.163

-Updates and maintains the FAA Accepted Training Program Manual and forms as required in order to determine company training needs.

-Maintains needs assessment summaries and updates the Master Training Matrix as required.

-Interfaces with department directors and supervisors to determine necessary contents of job specific training matrixes.

-Develops or sources required training courses to meet company needs and satisfy all regulatory requirements.

-Assesses and documents all employee training needs as required and when required per the Training Program Manual.

-Conduct required training and maintain electronic training records for all employees.

-Research and provide required training aids and material per O.S.H.A Hazard Communication Standard.

-Maintains rosters to track and show compliance with on-the-job and recurring training requirements.

-Ensures personnel who have aircraft operations authorizations are properly trained annually.

-Issue initial and annual replacement Aircraft Operations Qualifications (AOQ) badges to qualified personnel.

-Ensures personnel who have ground support equipment and vehicle use authorizations are properly trained.

-Issue Equipment Operation Qualifications (EOQ) badges to personnel as required based on their current authorizations.

-Assists production when needed and as required to stay current with aircraft engine run and taxi operations.

-Provide technical support to all production departments on various aircraft types maintained at AAC.

-Conduct training required by FAR Part 121 or 135 air carriers to ensure employees are properly trained in order to serve our current customers.

-Maintain records of that training per the air carrier requirements and coordinate as required with Q.C. and production to ensure needs are met.

-Perform other duties as and when required by supervisor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required in order to maintain course documents and training records in compliance with set guidelines.

-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to be both tactful and diplomatic when required.

-Must be creative in order to transform technical and regulatory information into interesting and effective training material and programs.

-Excellent presentation skills are required in order to present effective training presentations.

-Must be self motivated and able to prioritize multiple requirements in order to satisfy company and regulatory requirements.

-Must have good time management skills.

-Must be a self starter and have the ability to work with little or no interation with supervision.

-Must have the social skill required to establish a good working raport with all company personnel.

-Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.

-Must be able to vary work hours and days as required to accommodate company training needs and schedule.
