Module Center Engineering Producibility Manager

The Turbine Module Center is searching for dynamic, self-motivating Engineers to fill a leadership-potential position. The position of TMC Engineering Produciblity Manager Deputy is an Individual Contributor position that will provide qualified candidates with the opportunities to build leadership skills while contributing their skills and experiences to TMC. This Deputy position will work with the TMC Engineering Producibility Manager to establish the strategic actions required to improve the producibility of TMC airfoils as well as meet our year over year targets for scrap-rework and repair (SRR). Efforts will include working with the engineers in the TMC to establish the SRR reduction tasks, working with programs and operations to establish funding sources, monitoring the projects and driving the project owners to successful completion and communicating action plans and results to P&W senior management.

A minimum of a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced technical and / or MBA degrees are highly desired.

7 years of experience in Gas Turbine engineering is required. In addition, the following are considered discrimenators for applicants:
1) Knowledge of the turbine airfoil manufacturing processes
2) Certified Level 3 Process Certification Training will be required (training can be completed as a part of the job).
3) Familiarity with Manufacturing Standard Work
4) Knowledge of the COPQ-SRR data systems at P&W
