Multi-Media Engineer

Job Category:IT/Software Development Location: Key West, FLKratos Defense & Security Solutions is looking for a Multi-Media Engineer that is capable of working independently and with demonstrated working knowledge of project management of multi-media projects. Additional Skills/Experience:- In-depth knowledge of the installation, operation, scheduling and support of desktop and conference room VTC systems in a secure government or military environment including ISDN, Inverse Multiplexers, CODECs and H.320/H.323 protocols.  - In-depth knowledge of applications commonly used for presentations including PowerPoint, Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Photoshop, etc.  Be able to create “high-endâ€� presentations incorporating audio and streaming video.  - Working knowledge of video switching matrix equipment such as Extron Crosspoint.  - Working knowledge of audio systems including pre-amps, amplifiers, microphones (Cardioid, Super Cardioid, Shotgun, Omni-directional, Lavalier, etc.), speakers, audio system impedance matching, etc.  - Working knowledge of video systems including: projectors (Proxima, etc.), DVDs, VHS VCRs, video cameras, infra-red controls, etc.  - Working knowledge of routed networks, TCP/IP and Windows operating systems.  - Ability to do basic programming and interface design of Crestron integrated multi-media control and podium control systems (e.g., require as a minimum some Crestron basic programming training).  - Working knowledge of A/V concepts such as acoustics, lighting, aspect ratios, font size versus distance, scan rates, video standards and transmission systems.  - Working knowledge of TEMPEST standards and IA concerns for multi-classification multimedia systems.Five years of prior experience in the design, installation and support of VTC systems in a secure (classified) environment.  Minimum of four years of prior experience in the design, installation and support of audio/video systems. Must possess at least three years prior experience with install and support of multimedia audio/video switching equipment. A minimum of three years experience with programming, install, and support of Crestron multimedia control interfaces.Active DOD Security Clearance required.
