NAVY ANALYST

Sonalysts, Inc., is seeking a former Naval Surface Warfare Officer or Surface Warfare Senior Enlisted (E-7 or above) with extensive Surface Warfare experience interested in making a difference supporting the Navy as a Surface Combat Systems Analyst.

Must be a former Naval Officer or Senior Enlisted with a Bachelors degree or significant progress toward acquiring a degree and fifteen (15) years of Surface Combat Systems experience, including deployments in and support of battle group operations.


Desired technical/operational experience includes the following:  Aegis Combat Systems (ACS), Aegis Weapons System (AWS), Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT), Combat Systems Test and Evaluation (T&E), Navy Instructor in support of the Aegis Weapon System.  Plusses include experience with Aegis Curriculum management, Master Training Specialists and work experience with Aegis Training and Readiness Center, Dahlgren, VA.

Must possess strong writing skills and be able to think creatively, solve problems, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.  The successful candidate will be willing to accept new challenges with little supervision and be able to collaborate effectively with senior government staff.  Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a DoD Secret security clearance.
