OBJECTIVE
In cooperation with the company president, this position will set the sales vision and strategy for the sales department; direct our sales team to drive revenue growth, and lead our technical sales representatives to meet or exceed sales goals.
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the company President, this position will take a leadership role in developing, implementing, and tracking sales standards. This is a highly visible position for an aggressive and take charge sales professional who seeks to have significant influence on company sales strategy and growth.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with management to Develop and implement an effective sales strategy and marketing plan Develop, communicate and effectively manage pricing strategiesSupervise technical sales team. Responsible for generating revenue by developing and executing the sales and marketing plan in order to achieve revenue goals. Direct companies sales program assigning territories, setting goals, directing sales representatives on ways to meet sales objectives Responsible for gathering, interpreting, and informing management on potential client and market opportunities Monitor, track and report all sales activity. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue stream. Actively support the sales team through first hand involvement in the sales process Supervise activities of sales team and ensure they meet or exceed their goals Recruit, hire and establish training programs for new sales account representatives Ensure internal revenue growth and maintain profitability on both new and existing accounts Provide expert industry knowledge and interpretation to sales representative and customers Meet with customers to ensure client needs are met Analyze lost business trends and pursue corrective actions Maintain awareness of competition and trends affecting industryResponsible for direct sales of products and after market services, per set quotas for each sales rep as well as personal quotas. Reinforce and exemplify the high personal character standards and ethics established by senior management of Dustcontrol, Inc and its parent company.
Minimum REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.Experience: 7+ years experience/background in sales and marketing in all or some of the following industries: WasteManagement/Transportation/Aerospace/Automotive/Construction/Service related industries, or related field. 5+ years supervisory and management experience Proficiency in sales and marketing principles and techniques Proven track record developing and driving sales initiativesProven track record in meeting or exceeding personal sales goals. Effective communication skills across various levels of the organization, with customers, and with government regulatory agencies. Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Access) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
