Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q11105 Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies. Must Have the Following: US Citizen. MSEs must possess professional training or equivalent experience in one or more of the following types of disciplines: security operations/network operations; firewalls, VPN, and IDS devices; network management; integration and operation of Security Information Management (SIM) tools such as ArcSight; multiple operating systems (UNIX, Win32); vulnerability assessment tools; PKI infrastructure; Anti-Virus systems; and device configuration, design and integration. MSEs must have demonstrated skills in analytical problem solving and the ability to conduct event analysis and risk mitigation procedures. Experience may be substituted for education requirements. MS Windows. 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD.Prefer to Have the Following: The following hardware experience is desired: security devices (IDS); Cisco; and CheckPoint FW-1, Dell Server, Juniper and/or F5 SSL VPN. The following software experience is desired: vulnerability scanning utilities; mapping tools; pw cracking utilities; SIM tools; Enterprise Antivirus; ArcSight or other Security Information Management tools and anomaly detection suites. CISSP, MCSE, Security device certifications.
