Manage the 563rd Classroom Local Area Doman Environment, Stand-alone, and secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRnet) systems. Provide expertise on Microsoft operating systems, Systems Management software, classroom projection systems, enterprise level data backup solutions, and Storage Area Network (SAN) systems. Improve infrastructure performance and operations efficiency with knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, server hardware and software platforms Configure servers and nodes to provide desired functionality as required. Oversee and manage day-to-day configuration and operation of the software environment and hardware/operating systems. Evaluate potential information assurance security risks and take corrective action. Analyze network characteristics, designs for complex environments including installation and troubleshooting. Recommend procurement, removals, and modifications and provide support on all phases of analysis, design, testing, and implementation. Provide support for network analysis, configuration management, installations, and troubleshooting for networks. Conduct network integrity checks, inventories, and security checks. Provide support for classroom projection systems. Three years experience in Information Assurance technology and experience with computers running Windows XP, Windows 2000, Office XP and Microsoft Server operating systems. The contractor must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2000, Microsoft Server 2003, and Windows XP operating systems Requires a mastery of the following: Active Directory Group Policy Domain Name System WSUS in a disconnected configuration i.e. connection to the internet is not present Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Anti-Virus Server and Client Management Cisco Switch Management Ethernet and Fiber cabling skills MTC invites candidates with an active secret security clearance to submit their resume for consideration for this position.
