Provides lean expertise to 737 Value Stream Teams.Value Stream Teams are cross-functional teams that improve the quality and flow for their airplane commodity. Advises Program Leadership on the development of strategic initiatives. Resolves a wide range of complex issues by planning, conducting reviews and interpreting data to create action and improvement plans. Interfaces with customers and develops solutions to their requirements. Plans, organizes, and directs company resources to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Guides the implementation of decisions and recommendations that improve quality and flow. JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's degree and 10 to 14 years' related workexperience, a Master's degree and 8 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Require AIW Certification, Level 2 3P Certification, proficiency in leading Value Stream Mapping and experience in LMA (Lean Manufacturing Assessment).Demonstrated leadership ability. Extensive experience in Lean. Excellent communications, decision-making, facilitating, and team-building skills.Must be a positive, self-motivated team player who is able to work with a diverse group of people of various job descriptions and pay codes.Ability to gain rapport at all levels, both internal and external to Boeing. Strong problem solving skills. Lean and/or Six Sigma experience in manufacturing, engineering, and/or office environment.
