Oracle DBA  JOB DUTIES: US Person Status Required Member of project team developing software for Phantom Works Advanced Air Traffic Management (AATM) programs and projects. Specific projects include development of systems supporting advances in more efficient air traffic operations in the en-route and terminal environment and modernization models and tools.Work includes coordination and development of software systems in coordination with systems engineering groups for comprehensive architectures and systems which will be designed, coded, and tested.  Provides data analysis, data modeling, database design, configuration control, integration, documentation, and production readiness.  Provides software engineering knowledge and expertise during all phases of software development, from requirements analysis to software design, documentation, development, integration, testing and deployment. Develops software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Works independently with minimum direct supervision to complete assigned software development tasks. JOB SKILLS: Successful candidates must have:  Documented experience in data analysis and database design  Solid PL/SQL skills with one or more programming language such as Unix shell scripting, Perl.  Must have experience in generating ERD.  Solid skills in real-time database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures  Ability to understand impact of problem on overall application performance  Strong skills in maintenance tools and procedures  Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in Linux/Unix environment desired  Strong database management skills, including backup and recovery procedures strongly desired  Knowledge and experience with systems engineering concepts and applications applied to software systems is highly desired.  Knowledge of FAA HOST a big plus  Knowledge of air traffic management a plus
