Oracle Developer III (051.08S)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Responsible for primary applications support and integration for enterprise systems.  Develops ORACLE database solutions using SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions. Oracle 6i and 9i forms and reports, Oracle Discoverer and other development tools as required.  Researches/identifies the best technical solutions to support efficient business processes.  Performs new module implementations, upgrades, and application integrations.  Writes/executes complex functions/stored procedures, code optimization, and performance tuning.  Develops technical design documents for conversions, extensions, interfaces and reports.  Participates in architecture design, development planning, and code reviews.

 

Experience requirements:

q 7 years minimum Oracle Database 9i and 10g, Oracle Developer tool set

q Hands on experience in forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Application Express, Oracle  Discoverer

q Experience writing /modifying SQL, PL/SQL scripts-TOAD preferred

q Experience coordinating disparate applications and data sources.  Security, data flow and system integration a must.

q Moderate knowledge of Financial, Manufacturing and Supply Chain business concepts.  Moderate knowledge about Unix environment such as SUN Solaris

q Basic level of JavaScript and web design a plus

q Strong interpersonal skills.

q Creativity in providing business focused solutions.

q Documentation abilities.

q 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
