Program Administrator

Mexmil is a TMC Aerospace company which employs over 1000 people worldwide and conducts business with every segment of the commercial aviation sector including Aircraft Manufacturers, Aircraft major Component OEMs and the Airlines.

 

Mexmil has an immediate opening for a Program Administrator located in Plano, Texas.  The Plano facility is responsible for manufacturing and service of interior components, such as plastic, composites, and seating.

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Manages development programs related to manufacturing and service of commercial aircraft components.  Tracks progress, budgets, schedule and scope changes using PM tools and processes.  Performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.  Prepares required documentation to ensure accurate records of program compliance.  Coordinates cross-functional development of project plans and programs.  Interfaces with suppliers and customers as required to fulfill project obligations.  Complies with federal, state and aerospace industry regulations to ensure adherence to requirements.    Ensures regular program reviews are conducted.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



1. Conducts plan-studies for major programs, groups of

programs, or major portions of programs.  Prepares complex

budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project

requirements.

 

 

2. Establishes and defines program plan requirements and

directs or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum

program plans.

 

3. Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure

that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met. 

Collects, analyzes and summarizes information and trends

utilizing program management software.

 

4. Initiates business contacts and correspondence and

prepares required documentation to ensure accurate records

of program compliance are maintained.

 

5. Coordinates cross-functional development of project

plans and programs.  Interfaces with suppliers and

customers and performs extensive investigation as required

to fulfill project obligations

 

 

6. Complies with federal, state, and aerospace industry

regulations; ensures adherence to requirements and advises

management on needed actions.

 

 

Education and Experience

Bachelors or related experience with history in a PA role. 

 

Three plus years in Program Administrator role. 

 

Aerospace experience a plus but not required.
