Packaging Engineer

There is a position available for a Packaging Engineer in the Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBA&D) reporting to the Supervisor, Document and Data Systems.

Responsibilities:

 

The Packaging Engineer is responsible for determining the regulatory requirements of the DOT for shipment of hazardous materials by EBA&D including documentation generation as required to obtain Competent Authority approvals or IHC’s as appropriate.  The Packaging Engineer is responsible for overall packaging compliance including Bid & Proposal review, Contract compliance, package design & marking requirements, UNPOP testing and package development testing as necessary.  The Package Engineer shall coordinate all new package designs with the team (PM, DE, PE, BP, etc.) and flow down documentation in the form of drawings and PI’s via the CR process.

 

Requirements:

 

A four year degree in Engineering with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience is required.
