We are currently seeking a Plant Protection Officer for our Sacramento site to perform duties as Central Station Operator and security sentry. Patrol buildings and grounds to enforce Company Security Rules. Control entry and departure of persons, vehicles, property or documents in closed or restricted areas. Direct/control vehicular traffic; report violations and accidents and write reports. Acts as an escort for special movements and/or material. Perform such security functions as fingerprinting and photographing in the issuance of identification badges, passes and permits and/or visitors. Incidental to above duties, perform necessary investigations to enforce all applicable Company Security rules and regulations. To qualify you must have: A high school education or equivalent. Twelve (12) months' full-time paid experience in a recognized law enforcement agency or industrial guard unit. Currently possess and maintain a California Guard Card as a condition of employment. Ability to drive and a valid California driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). This position may be a graveyard shift.
