In every one of them is a team of inventive, capable people…committed to serving their customers and with the drive to meet demanding targets.job descriptionThe primary pre-sales technical interface with the customer, you'll recognize the client's business needs, interpret them, and produce the solution design proposals.Supporting the sales team throughout the business winning process, you'll also assist in the implementation. A presales Consultant applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert within HP. They frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. Presales Consultants will work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. They exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. The Presales Consultant acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process.  Detailed responsibilities are as followed… Conducts complex integration work, proof of concept, stress testing & performance testing Deep knowledge of HPS service offerings pertinent to specialty and HPS engagement process Engages and coordinate other pre-sales resources Transfers knowledge to field, customers, partners to HPS -Active TS/SCI clearance -Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or equivalent experience preferably in technical field -Sound technical knowledge (Hands -on LINUX, Windows, Hardware, Storage and Mission Critical Concepts)-Recognized industry leader in the Intelligence Community Preferably in a delivery or PreSales role. -Excellent customer and communication and presentation skills -Strong sales & negotiation skills -Customer facing skills-Formal technical training program completed-Technical University degree-Fully qualified technical selling skills-Deep understanding of HPS service offerings-Consulting skills-Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers of given products. © 2007 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
