Principal Engineer (Systems)

In this position you will be responsible for system verification of secure, state-of-the-art military and public safety / homeland security communications systems.

This person will be responsible for system verification planning and execution for secure, state-of-the-art military and public safety / homeland security communications systems operating in the 2 to 2800 MHz frequency range. Work closely with system technical leads to develop plans and procedures for verification of system level requirements.  Review system specifications for completeness, traceability and verifiability.  Develop automated tests for efficient execution of verification activities.  Lead the execution of verification procedures and the analysis of verification results.  Work with program management to review verification metrics and execute against program budget and schedule for verification activities.

BSEE or BSCS minimum

Experience in system verification of communications systems operating in the 2 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range.

Ability to lead requirements analysis, verification planning, execution and analysis.

Ability to manage tasks against program budget and schedule.


Work closely with project technical leads to identify and resolve issues found during verification.

Experience in overall software radio communications architectures to include RF, digital, software, secure, and networking applications.

Excellent oral and written skills required.
