Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS group: WLED: The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. Job Description: Monitor day to day operation of missile test facilities, evaluate missile test results and note significant issues or events in missile databases. Perform field reliability impact assessment and disposition failed hardware for return to vendor for failure analysis. Provide recommendations to customers to improve overall system reliability. Prepare and present results of reliability assessments and missile mission impact analysis to US and Foreign Missile Sales customers. Direct failure investigations to determine root cause and corrective action of failures. Basic Qualifications Skills: - Knowledge of reliability analysis tools including basic statistical methods and failure analysis techniques. - Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems related to missile operation. - Ability to recognize failure trends and distinguish those that may have a significant impact on system reliability. - Must understand root cause analysis and corrective action - . Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. - 6 years' minimum related experience required.
