Principal Subcontract Admin
Principal Subcontracts Administrator in support of a DoD Program. This U.S. Government Program requirements include labor subcontracts, commercial off the shelf hardware/software procurements and maintenance, licensing agreements, and subcontract administration of major, critical subcontracts Oversees pricing of bill of material requirements in support of Program proposals. This position is also responsible for the Program subcontract's sales forecast planning, monthly monitoring, variance analysis, and reporting. Provides day-to-day oversight of subcontracting operations to include setting work priority, and supporting the Program Management Office with problem resolution. Provides guidance to Program personnel on regulations pertaining to Government contracting and applicable Company policies. Supports internal, external, and customer led purchasing audits as required. Serves as the primary liaison between the Program, as Supply Chain Management's representative, and the subcontractor to ensure quality and performance. This position requires the Principal Subcontract Administrator to be fully integrated, and co-located with the Program Office to achieve Program goals and milestones, and to report subcontractor performance to Supply Chain Management senior leadership. Required Skills: Bachelors' degree in a business related discipline with a minimum of 6 years experience in a Government contracting environment; strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR and Government procurement requirements, and experience with contract negotiations with suppliers, price/cost analysis tools and techniques, contracting for software/hardware to include licensing, and writing of effective Requests for Proposals. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Lotus Notes. U.S. CITIZENSHIP WITH AN ACTIVE/CURRENT SSBI SECURITY CLEARANCE.
