Principle Designer

The principal designer will be responsible for preparing working plans, detailed drawings, and complete mechanical or electrical drawings of very complex components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions, and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes. Must be able to work independently and coordinate the design/drafting efforts for an assigned program to ensure that design details and drawings are in compliance with established standards and to verify completed work, checking dimensions, material and quantities to be used. Will transition the program from design and development into production assuring producibility within cost and schedule requirements.

Principal Electrical CAD Designer: The Applicant will be responsible for the design of high density mixed technology printed circuit cards per IPC and the company's Design Specifications. They should have a strong working knowledge of PWB fabrication and be well versed in the circuit card assembly process. This designer will be responsible for the creation of schematic, fabrication, and circuit card assembly drawing packages and for checking drawings created by other designers. Applicant must have 15 years printed circuit design experience in the Military and or Aerospace Industry with a minimum of 10 years experience using Cadence Allegro PWB design software, the Spectra Autorouter, Orcad Schematic Capture and Autocad. Applicant must also posses a strong working knowledge of the Allegro Constraint and the rules setup for both Allegro and Spectra. An Associates degree in electronics or a related technical field is required.
