We develop technology critical to fleet defense and you have the potential to become part of a talented team, work on rewarding projects, thrive in a dynamic environment and excel in your career.Our Sonar and Command Systems Business Area is looking for a talented engineer to investigate and develop advances in the state-of-the-art technologies through Robust Systems Engineering disciplines to the definition, analysis, and solution of complex technical problems involving Sonar and Command and Control systems.This team member will recommend practical applications; provide advice and consultation to engineering personnel and management in areas of specialization. In addition this is a wonderful opportunity be part of the development of leading edge technology. There also may be an opportunity to provide leadership by directing the technical efforts of other team members. Systems Engineering management and Valued Based Product Development experience is a plus. Desired Skills' MS in engineering or BS in Engineering with specific applicable experience to be equivalent to the MS degree. ' Must have a minimum 10 years of related Systems Engineering experience.' 5+ years of Anti-submarine Warfare experience is required.' Advanced scientific and technical concepts, advanced mathematics and the application of these concepts to electronics design and development is desired.' Specific experience with Commercial Off The Shelf Open System Architecture, concepts, algorithms and implementations is desired.' Specific experience with sonar architecture, concepts, algorithms and implementations is desired.' Working knowledge of DOORS requirements tool is desired.'
