Process Development Engineer

Hexcel is seeking a Process Development Engineer in our Salt Lake City, UT facility.

Position description:
This position will develop basic understanding of processes in Carbon Fiber manufacture with the aim to improve process capability (productivity increase and quality improvement) as well as develop basic understanding of processes in PAN fiber production with the aim to improve process capability. 
Position RequirementsPosition requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering; knowledge of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, solid-gas phase reactions, kinetics, and thermodynamics; and knowledge of materials is a plus, but solid basic knowledge of physics, chemistry and chemical engineering is essential.
