Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q11134The Government client has established a Special Projects support office focused on both day-to-day as well as longer term, strategic operations. This office reports within the CIO office providing required business infrastructure support. This support includes process and policy development and review, workforce management, and other ad-hoc tasks as necessary. Participation in and the ability to facilitate interviews, meetings, site surveys, and teleconferences with government personnel and contractors will be necessary to perform these activities. The contractor activities shall include the development of required tools and/or templates, communications, briefings, workshops and other efforts required to successfully initiate implementation of Special Projects initiatives. All endeavors undertaken by the Special Projects office will be focused on CIO operational needs to improve internal operational efficiency that improve delivered services to the government's customers. In supporting Workforce Management, the position will assist with developing career tracks for OCIO government staff; identifying relevant skills needed for positions and corresponding training; working with vendors to procure and execute appropriate training to fulfill organizational needs; and responsible for providing client management with input on organizational staffing structure. Must Have the Following: US Citizen. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering coupled with a minimum of 2 years of experience in business process reengineering and/or systems engineering. Proficiency in business process modeling/business process reengineering. Ability to provide Enterprise Architecture support which includes developing and managing the to-be architecture, performing gap analysis, road mapping, and synchronization activities, providing system acquisition support, providing EA briefings to senior leadership, recommending and supporting the implementation of a governance structure, and working with the government to integrate EA into the organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to develop/brief presentations and facilitate meetings.Prefer to Have the Following: Experience with BPMN. Familiarity of Enterprise Architect concepts (e.g. DoDAF) and tools (e.g. Telelogic System Architect).
