Production Control Specialist (Scheduler) Opportunity:Excellent production scheduling opportunity with a strong, growing company committed to lean manufacturing as a Production Control Specialist at the Nacogdoches, TX facility.  Join a high performing and fun team that has created significant business results in the past 3 years.Description/Essential Functions:Looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, organized, hands-on scheduler to create production schedules based on customer orders, shipment goals and line capacity. Communicates and coordinates with logistics and procurement when inventory drops below production needs.   Utilizing schedules developed by Division Production Control Manager and/or the  Material  Planning Manager, track sequence and lead times of manufacturing operations.    Familiarity with APICS principles a big plus. Must have the ability to deal with people at a cross-functional level.  Position requires the ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form in order to present information and respond to inquiries from employees, customers and suppliers.Qualifications:   Minimum of 2-4 years experience in inventory and production control.   4 year college degree in business, engineering, or materials managementrequired with certification in supply chain management preferred.   Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and    recommend proper automation opportunities.   Must have advanced computer skills and be able to understand electronic processing.   Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with   allinternal and external contacts.  Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprises principles and practices. Location:Nacogdoches, the Oldest Town in Texas, is located in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas with great outdoor  activities including fishing, water skiing, hunting, camping, and boating at Lake Nacogdoches, Sam Rayburn Reservoir, and the nearby Davy Crockett and Angelina National Forests.  Nacogdoches is a college town with a variety of cultural and family events centrally located between Dallas, Houston, Shreveport, and the gulf coast.Company:  Parker Hannifin Corporation is the world’s leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies.  Parker has 1,400 product lines for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical applications in some 1,000 industrial and aerospace markets.
