Our client, located in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego, is looking to hire a Program Director with an Active SCI Clearance.Description: Program Director for a classified system development program for the Intelligence Community. Program Director is responsible for the day to day execution of development, delivery, and operations of a large, COTS based system that receives, processes, stores and disseminates intelligence information deployed in a customer data center. The program is responsible for operating the system currently in the field and supporting the customer’s mission, incrementally developing additional capabilities in multiple overlapping spirals, migrating data from legacy systems, and transitioning new capabilities into production. This high profile program is the Line of Business’ largest program with our primary customer and forms the cornerstone for our customer’s efforts in support of transformation to a data center paradigm. The Program Director is responsible for leading a team of over 100 technical and management professionals performing requirements analysis, software development, hardware design, COTS integration, material procurement, system test, data migration, and operations and sustainment. Responsible for initiating, organizing, planning, authorizing work, and managing change. Implements and executes program information management systems and controls to carry out program tasks. Responsible for performance of assigned program tasks in terms of quality, cost control, and achievement of technical, schedule, performance, and contractual objectives. The program has annual revenues greater than $50M. The program team includes 8 teammate subcontractors which are a combination of defense community system integrators, COTS vendors, and specialty engineering support providers. The Program Director supports the development of strategic and financial plans for the company. This position reports directly to the Program Vice President. Qualifications: Experience developing and delivering information systems including 10+ years experience successfully leading and managing development programs BS in Business Administration or technical discipline Current, active SCI clearance Thorough understanding of Earned Value Management implementation and proven success using Earned Value to manage programs Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams including geographically dispersed teammates Relevant experience managing/leading programs developing software and integrating COTS hardware and software Preferred Qualifications: MS or MBA in Information Systems Management, Business Administration or advanced technical degree PMP certification Experience leading/managing programs in the Intelligence Community Relevant experience managing/leading programs delivering service oriented architectures into a data center environment If you want to be considered for this job please email your resume in Word Format to seth.gravin@modisit.com Job Reference Code: SG - PROGRAM DIRECTOR - RB Company: Modis, Inc.
