Minimum Qualifications:Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, plus two (2) or more years of related, task-on experience, including a thorough knowledge of program tracking in an earned value environment (preferably maintaining a program with CPR requirements).Skills Needed:The Financial analyst should have some working knowledge of GAAP, FAR (particularly Part 31.205), and proposal preparation and must have government cost control EVMS experience. Preferred candidate will have two or more years of EVMS experience. This position requires strong personal computer skills; well versed in popular spreadsheet, word document, and graphic presentation software as well as demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.Duties Specific to the Position:This position is responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis including MpM maintenance. Job duties including pricing activities, monthly status coordination with material and scheduling and preparation of customer reporting requirements. Reviews financial data received from both managers and the accounting system for accuracy and indications of cost spending trends. Maintains and presents documented financial information to various levels of management. Ensures compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations. This position is responsible to effectively communicate financial/program information efficiently within a matrix organization.
