Program Manager (7044)

Moog Inc., a world class designer and manufacturer of integrated flight control systems, and navigational aids has an immediate opening in its Salt Lake City, UT facility for an experienced Program Manager Program Manager to support on-going efforts in support of legacy and new generation Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN products).  This full-time position will report to the TACAN Program Director. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating all program activities from contract award through data and hardware delivery. The Program Manager acts as a single point contact for the customer and, therefore, must be capable of conversing with the customer regarding any aspect of the program. This requirement includes design features, quality systems, manufacturing processes, delivery plans and pricing support.The Program Manager will develop a program plan for start up of a new program. This plan will include the size, sequence and timing of events leading to the first shipment. Such a plan will be defined in a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tied to the Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS). The Program Manager should collect the data required and create the program plan. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics 2 - 5 years of progressive experience in the field of Program/Project Management Proven general capabilities in oral and written communications, planning and organizing, and decision making Proven specific capabilities in Earned Value Management, Contract Terms and Conditions, Material Requirements Planning, and General Engineering Principals. The ideal candidate will also be able to travel internationally, sometimes on a quarterly basis, over multiple weeks.  Relocations assistance is available
