Battelle is currently seeking a Program Manager at Point Mugu, CA supporting the Center for Asymmetric Warfare (CAW) at Point Mugu, CA. This is a full-time position, with full compensation benefits based on qualifications and experience. A full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401k, pension plan, and tuition reimbursement will be provided. Relocation support is not available. Some travel is required. SUMMARY: Responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of CAW Program support. The Center for Asymmetric Warfare (CAW) provides Homeland security and defense training & exercise support, technology testing and evaluation throughout the United States and overseas locations. Responsible for approximately 10 staff and all sub-contractor support. Other responsibilities include business case analysis, annual/ multi-year/long range fiscal planning & program execution, business innovations, evaluation and improvement of assigned technical training & exercise programs. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets: - Experience with the development and execution complex scenario-based exercises involving multiple diverse organizations at the local, state, and federal level, focused on the Maritime/Port Security environment - Emergency Management & Response expertise in Civil and Military arenas - CBRNE Planning, Training & Response expertise - Civil Military Interface (DSCA) expertise - Military Command & Control (C2) expertise - Expertise and knowledge of NIMS, DSCA, Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFTA), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Crisis Action Planning (CAP), HSEEP, Foreign Consequence Management, & Incident Command System (ICS) - Demonstrated experience in program management and team leadership - Experience in sustaining effective client relationships and addressing client concerns - Establishing, monitoring, and controlling time and task schedules and budgets. - Coordinating and conducting meetings that include high-ranking civil and military representatives. - Demonstrated interpersonal skills and be clearly perceived by clients as being knowledgeable and providing value. - Mentoring and monitoring the work of assigned staff members. - Adapt quickly to new situations; assimilate new information and situations easily - Excellent writing and verbal skills - Self-starter who works well in a team environment - Capable of obtaining a Secret government security clearance. - Ten years of experience directly related to the position description. - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
