In this role you will be responsible for program management performance, and completion of major power supply programs involving substantial commitment of company resources. You will be responsible for the cost and schedule performance of your assigned programs, and you will be the point of contact on all non-contractual issues. Establish and execute overall program technical objectives and tasks. Work in concert with the functional area directors, managers and site leaders to coordinate resource planning leading to successful project executions. Use leadership and influential skills, coordinate the activities of technical resources, staffing and budgeting including identifying requirements, impacts to schedule and optional recovery plans as required. Coordinates various disciplines involved in the development process, including but not limited to electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, reliability engineering, quality engineering, test engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering, design/drafting, technical writing, design verification and qualification test support. Determine and manage project (financial, technical, schedule and quality) risks, creating mitigation plans to mitigate those risks. Monitor, control and communicate on status and completion of project milestones, keeping the customer and all levels of management informed in a timely manner. Implement, use and execution project and business management processes and methodologies, including Earned Value, cost-benefit analysis, time value of money, WBS, ROI analysis, risk and action logs. Prepare company financial reports on project status and cost-to-complete. Support and participate in contractual negotiations and administration. Negotiates contractual terms as required, with guidance from management and to company guidelines. Negotiate approval with customer and/or management for issues beyond plan. Coordinate across organizations, insuring proper communications and keeping the customer and all levels of management informed of key programmatic issues. Coordinate cross-functional teams of company technologists and engineers, industry associates and partners, consultants and developers/suppliers in several different geographical locations across company sites in the U.S. Coordinates proposal preparation, establishes and monitors master plans, schedules, budgets, and white papers with occasional presentations to customers, with the support of engineering and other needed organizations. Participate in developing strong customer relationship management (CRM) based on trust and performance to enhance and strengthen ties with our customer and partners, through Voice of Customer, in support of the program, including support for business development, sales, quality and manufacturing teams. Perform necessary tradeoffs of schedule, requirements and resources among technology, internal teams, industry partners, supply chain and customers to meet the program objectives with a high level of Customer Satisfaction. Manage and direct all phases of a program.Minimum Requirements 6+ years experience in establishing program plans and schedules. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. Experience working with product specifications and statements of work. Demonstrated job costing experience. 3+ years experience managing large, complex, product developments. May be required to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance.
