Program Manager - ISR Sensors / Senior Professional Staff I / II Description:Responsible for managing and developing sensor programs in the Detection and Targeting Program Area.Duties include: 1) Manage current programs developing sensor hardware for ground targeting systems, including technical (with help from technical specialists), programmatic, and financial aspects. 2) Work with APL technical groups to identify appropriate staffing for ISR Sensors programs. 3) Develop new sensor concepts and programs, new sponsors. 4) Develop strategic plans for the ISR Sensor programs. Contribute to strategic plans for Detection and Targeting Program Area and PE Business Area. 5) Prepare proposals to respond to formal government requests. 6) Prepare/approve program reports to sponsors (financial and technical).Qualifications:Required - B.S. in engineering or equivalent technical discipline. Minimum five years technical experience. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed. SECRET security clearance.Desired - M.S./PhD in engineering or equivalent technical discipline. Ten years technical experience.
